The Hideaways - Properties on the right hand side of Jan Savage road when driving towards the Hammocks
The Hideaways Phase 2 - lots located on the left side of the road as one approaches the gate to the Hammocks
Following is an excerpt of an email from Mr Lawrence Savage dated 14 July 24 to the POA Board concerning the development of these lots.
"Two of the three new lots on the NE side of Jan Savage Way and outside of TH gate are available for sale. Lot #AA is now under contract. This lot will not need a sewer agreement; the Buyer has agreed to sign the Road Maintenance Agreement between himself/his lot and THPOA. In addition to paying their pro-rata share of road maintenance expenses from Hwy 174 to TH gate, the new lot owners in Hideaways PH II will forever pay their 1/14 percent of the cost associated with the proposed +/- 900' dirt-sand-gravel cul-de-sac road; payments to THPOA will begin no earlier than 2025 since the payments are defined as reimbursements.
The above suggestion might be the least expensive and the most simple method of maintaining JSWay and assuring that the new buyers pay their way and that the road stays in good shape and benefits all concerned. By County regulations, these two lots could have been allowed direct access to Jan Savage Way. After some conversation/negotiation it was agreed that the owners of AA will not access JSWay in order to save the Vegetative Buffer. They will enter on the newly proposed side road. They will also agree to pay a pro-rata share of maintenance of the new road, The Fisk brothers should have opened our new, proposed cul-de-sac road by now but if not, please let know.
Also, let me know if the road opening has not been done well.
The old swing gate on Lot "A" will be removed once it it under contract. Fraternal Properties, Inc. plans to fill that area with myrtles as soon as the gate is removed."
